How It Works

A gentle way to remember them

The process is simple, and we take it slowly. Three small steps, and a portrait made to keep.

  1. I

    Send a favorite photo

Any clear photo you love is enough. We work gently from what you have; no perfect picture required.

  2. II

    Choose a scene

Pick a calm, warm setting that feels like them. We match their coat, markings and expression with care.

  3. III

    Receive your keepsake

Our own custom-built studio software, made in-house and used only by Retro Reverence, places them into the original scene, created from the artist’s own idea, then a designer matches the markings, hand-retouches every detail in Photoshop and personally approves your memorial pet portrait before it is prepared in your chosen format.

A cat memorial gift or dog memorial gift

When someone you care about has lost a pet, words can be hard to find. A portrait says it simply: their companion mattered, and is remembered.

It’s a pet loss gift that doesn’t fade: a piece of art for a wall or a desk, illustrated from a photo they already treasure. If you’d like help choosing a scene, just ask.
