Our Story
Resurrected by a stubborn little cat
Retro Reverence came back to life because of Pookah, a medically complex cat who survived IMHA, three blood transfusions, pneumonia and a whole lot more. Sitting beside him, I kept thinking about how deeply we love these creatures and how much we long to hold onto them.
Every scene begins as my own original idea. Our own custom-built studio software, made in-house and used only by Retro Reverence, places your pet into it. Then I match the markings, retouch every detail by hand in Photoshop and personally approve each portrait before it leaves my desk.
