It's a fair question. There are a lot of apps now where you upload a photo and get "art" back in ten seconds, no person involved anywhere in the process. So when people ask if this is the same thing, they're not being difficult; they're being reasonable. Here's the honest, specific answer.

## What a Typical AI Pet Portrait App Does

Upload a photo, pick a style, an algorithm generates an image, done, usually in under a minute, with no human ever looking at the result before it lands in your inbox. That's fine for what it is. It's just not what happens here.
